Girls, if you got a message from an account you know and another message later from someone you don't would you assume the messages were connected?

Let's say that this is the first time you've heard from the person you know in awhile. They send you a message.

Then, within a few hours on a different platform, you get a message from a stranger. The messages are totally unrelated in content, but the message from the stranger talks about something that is loosely related to the person you know. For example, you met the person you know by playing soccer. You commented that you've had some bad experiences with people you met playing soccer, and the stranger messages you, asking about that experience.

Would you assume that those messages were from the same person?
