What would you do if you found messages from a girl on your spouse's phone from another person sending kissy faces 😘?

So first of all I want to say that I am married expecting my first child. This is where things get interesting, so on Saturday night my husband leaves his phone unattended and I see a message from a girl sending him kissy face emojis. I asked him about it and usually he's pretty open, but he gave me the turn around. He told me it was just a friend and she does that to all her friends. I dismissed it believing him. I know I'm wrong for doing this, but when I checked on Sunday the messages were deleted. That same Sunday he signed in on his Facebook on my phone and forgot to sign off. On Monday I looked through the messages and what do I see. That same girl telling him my love, and sweetheart. I screenshoted the messages. Usually after work he goes on the computer to work on photoshop his hobby so I leave him to it. I usually read. Instead I look back and the messages are gone. Now if the messages are innocent fun I would see no need to delete them. It's the fact that he does delete the messages that makes me suspicious. I have no problem with him having friends that are girls give me people to talk to when we hang out.

Okay there are 2 possibilities. Number 1 He's lying and hiding something shady. The turn around is shady but it can also mean a "oh no its not like this, please let this not be a fight" turn around which leaves us at the 2nd possibility. That this woman keeps sending him those things and he doesn't like it (hence he deletes it) but can't tell her that this needs to stop to avoid any awkwardness with her. This could be both honestly and I'm not sure. I think if he's so careless leaving his phone and FB around then he might be telling the truth cuz no one would leave their lies open like that. But then again thats not a guarantee. Keep an eye open I'd say.

Thanks I didn't even think about that. I didn't confront him when I screenshoted the messages. I don't like arguing with him. We almost don't argue. Thank goodness. You have a point with the awkwardness part. He is a sweet person he is the type to be friends with anyone. But I will keep my eyes open.

Well firtsly you do have an issue with the messages because eyou clearly felt the need to screenshot them, he's not daft he knows this, hence the deletion in hopes of avoiding drama. That's the most innocent outcome. Another one could be that there may be infidelity otmr thoughts of. The real test will be when the baby comes as many men feel pushed out then and can look elsewhere for whta they feel they're missing, not that that's justified in any way, just that it's not uncommon. Have the courage to be honest with yourself and him adn figure out what's best from there.
