Why would any of this be a reason to hate someone? I hate neither for any of the reasons.

maybe "annoys you" is a more correct way to phrase it? (Sorry i'm not native English)

for the why: It's just that some people find more annoying let's say some type of trait of a person compared to other, so, if you had to choose, wich trait do you hate the most? someone who talks too much or someone who doesn't talk too much?

It depends. Both can be equally bad. I do think that generally being too quite can become more easily a problem while talking too much depends more on what is being said.
