How should I treat a girl who rejected me?

She had a crush on me for a long time. Her friends kept telling me she likes me. We became closer and things were looking good. We went out and kissed few times. But then she rejected me. First she started to be more distant when we met somwhere where was more people. Then it took her forever to reply to my texts. When i asked her how it is between us she just said I dont have time now which was obviously lie. Four months later she had someone new. We didn't talk like for three months. Now when we talk it is mostly making fun of each other and teasing. I mean we are friends and we see each other often cuz of lot of mutual friends. When we say hi and i dont smile she is like why dont you smile and stuff. I would say she still wants my attention cuz for example once i was sitting at the table and she was behind me and i didn't pay any attention to her she started kicking to my chair, blowing to my ears and stuff. I dont want to give her any attention anymore. i would say i am too nice to her. I dont want to be mean just because she rejected me but still. When we interact a lot and she smiles and stuff it doesn't help to get over her. What do you think

I mean, if you're currently friends then treat her as a friend? (As in, the same way you would all your other friends.) If she does something that you wouldn't let someone else do, regardless of your shared past, then say something the same way you would everyone else. And if you're not actually interested in being friends with her, then politely distance yourself. If she asks why, tell her the truth. It's ok to not feel comfortable around a former crush/date after things are over. If you need the space to get over her and you don't think she's going to give it of her own accord then the only thing you can do is be honest with her.

I've been on the opposite end of this, trying to be friends with a guy after he asked me out, I mean. We were solid for like a year until I slept with someone and he suddenly "needed space". Instead of being honest about why (so honestly I'm still low key guessing this is what happened), he pushed me away and blamed me for continuing to contact him to try and figure out what was wrong. We ends things really badly and I'm still trying to emotionally process it.

It's way kinder to the other person to explain what you need and why then to push them away emotionally and hope they take a hint. If you aren't moving on, take some space, but be sure to do so in a kind and responsible way. If you can bring yourself to be upfront about it, I highly encourage you to do so. It will be less painful for both of you in the long run.

Ignore her, be rude to her, and pout when you're around her.
When you get rejected, you want to show emotional weakness by acting differently and proving that she has complete control over your emotions. Your happiness is strictly dependent on what she thinks about you.
Women love weakness in men and it will always make her change her mind.

Well considering you two went out and kissed, that's not really a rejection, that's her deciding she didn't like you romantically like she thought she would. Maybe something happened that turned her off?

Be friends with her and work on yourself. By the time she realizes what she has missed you will have moved on and be in a much better position. And people won't look down at you for being immature.

Depending on her rejection. If she is respectful about her refusal than I be respectful. If she is rude or inconsiderate than treat her accordingly.
