You're asking do women manipulate men's emotional weaknesses. I think it's always important to remember that women and men DO NOT think the same way. I think women have a tendency to TEST men. But good women do it with deference to a man's feeling as they know they can cause potential damage while bad women do not.

So I'm sorry I can't give a black and white answer to this. I agree with what @Alli39 has said, with the added acknowledgment that while there are women that do this with deliberate malicious intent. There are also women that are so toxic they don't even realize how unhealthy some of thier actions are. I'm not excusing it, it's still wrong. Just saying it needs to be acknowledged.

This is why I'll tell any guy who will listen to take your time and really vet who she is before getting too involved with her. If she's a good woman she will understand this. I think a lot of guys make the mistake of getting involved with a woman and just expecting her to conform to what he feels she should be. This is not only a recipe for failure but a recipe for pain.
