Why do some women try to bait men into talking to them, instead of just being direct?

It’s annoying when a girl will try to “spit game” at me instead of being direct about what’s going on.
There’s nothing character developing, or brave about this. Not every relationship has to either be masculine man-feminine woman or the opposite. Both parties can be completely equal in this regard, apart from the obvious and irreversible differences between said parties.

For the record, I’m completely against “equal rights equal fights,” as men are naturally stronger than women. I also still believe that men are supposed to be the protectors in a relationship. But in every other regard, I feel that the relationship should be completely equal.

Because a lot of women have been taught to be as unassuming as possible in their interactions with men. They're (in general) suuuuper uncomfortable with the idea of feeling like they're telling their partner what to do.

That's why you get a lot of women trying to hint at things and hoping men will pick up on subtle social cues, because they don't want to feel like something was their idea. It's a self confidence thing.

I mean we all have ego's. But to some women they have an over inflated sense of importance. These types of women do no value most people and certainly not men. Men are tribute to her and nothing more. Her ego is such that it has to constantly be fed by men's attention.
