Why is it that the girls under 5’3 will only choose guys over 6ft?

I have a theory on this and I can be wrong. However my theory is as women we want to feel protected. That's human nature. And being a short woman would suggest she might know she is less likely to defend herself as a tall woman can and therefor she goes for the really tall man. While the tall woman feels like she can protect herself better and therefor is more open for dating men in different heights.

However this is just a speculation. This can very well be wrong. I am 5'2 myself and my crush is under 6 feet. And I know other short women prefering averege height and I know tall women prefering men above 6 feet. So i've seen both sides to it. Notice how I used to word feel it doesn't mean its nessecarily correct.

Some girls have a height fetish by which they go for the tallest guy they can get. This is a small minority, though. I does not mainly concern short women, but it will stand out when it does.

It is possible that this is the optimum, but the impact really flattens out a lot and the additional 3'' make little difference to attractiveness.
A guy who is just the same height as the woman still has a significant disadvantage against competitors. In the range of 4'' taller and above it becomes less of an issue.
In other words, if you are 5'' taller, but can't get her then it was not your height that was the issue.

Yeah, probably. I'm 5'11 without shoes on & I'm a 5-6/10 in looks. Some very attractive women have even said they would date me & that they'd view me as a possible 7/10 depending on other factors about me. But I'm still not interested in all that & where it leads.
