Why do girls feel that guys over 6 feet are more attractive?

But I think for a lot of girls, it comes back to a) wanting to feel protected (and they subconsciously see someone who is bigger as better able to protect); and b) being with a taller guy makes a lot of girls feel more feminine (the view that women are supposed to be smaller and men are supposed to be larger). It's hard for some girls to feel feminine when they are larger than their boyfriend. The taller a guy is than a girl, the more masculine she may see him as, and the more feminine she may feel.

I guess that is a fair answer but seeing as you say you like guys of various heights do a lot of girls also feel this way. I feel my height puts me at a disadvantage.

Girls like tall guys. For a lot of girls, it is a deal breaker. They won't date short people even though they have great qualities. When they date tall guys, there is a sense of comfort and protection they possess unlike shorter dudes(even if they have a black belt or something.) They also like wearing heels and it would suck if they can't wear heels because the dude is short. I haven't dated a short guy. Well I'm 5'6, so I don't know how it's like.

I dunno, they just feel protected because the guy is bigger as in hugs and holding them. It's a more manlier thing. Would you find it awkward when you're hugging a girl that's taller than you?

I think some girls just like to feel "small and cute." :P Being with a really tall guy gives them that feeling.
