I didn't vote, but I wanted to weigh in. Nobody's ever accused me of not being a real man, so "annoying" is a little stronger than I would say. If someone did accuse me of such, I would probably just chuckle, but I can't go as far as say annoyed. I do agree with you that if the woman asking it also expects you to do all the cooking for all eternity because she'd burn toast then she ought not be in a position to be "looking" for anyone higher than the scraps who will have her.

I mean it's more of an eye roller than something that annoys me. It's like when they say "where did all the good men go"? I always respond, "the same place all the good women went". Seek them out and that is where you'll find the good men.

Because the reality is most of these women just simply do not understand that in thier current form they're not worthy of these men, that's why. But if you tell them that rather than up thier game they'll just lash out at you. So you just got to kind of roll your eyes and keep on walking and hope for thier sake one day they'll figure it out.
