Seeing as statistically people who make these claims are already diagnosed with some psychotic illness - e. g. schizophrenia, bipolarism, etc. - I'd say "good for you" & make sure not to have anything to do with them. I mean pretending to be a woman is bad enough but unmedicated psychotic illnesses has potential to be dangerous.

I wouldn’t judge them. I actually had a phase where I was convinced I was meant to be a boy, when in reality I’m a girl, which is what I was born as. there are a few different causes for that phase, but the main two is likely due to emotional neglect and my mental illnesses that weren’t treated at the time.

I don’t know enough about the concept of dysphoria to have an opinion on this. I do know, however, that whatever they’re feeling is likely very real to them. I wouldn’t demean them for their words, it’s not as if I can ask “are you mentally ill” without appearing rude.

I would question if that is how they truly feel or if they only feel that way because society keeps pushing people to change their sex. I would than be taking them to see a psychologist to get me mentally evaluated
