Hey ladies I’ve always been curious would you date a guy who has a different culture/ background to you? So say Greek in our culture a lot of us are close with our families and live at home until we either get married or are a lot older. I’ve always been curious how American/UK women would react to this as I know most of you leave home at a very young age. Do some of you like the way we are family orientated? (Also please be respectful with your answer)
Yeah absolutely I would date someone of a different background or culture. It isn't about that. It is about the person. I need to be good with who they are and vice versa. If that works then hell yeah I'm down no matter where you come from. As a matter of fact I'd take that as a really cool opportunity to learn about someone and where they came from and their values. As long as we were always on the same page as our goals I see no issue in it at all. All for it.

I'd prefer to date someone of a different culture (for me that means not Canadian white, though I am Filipino-Canadian and happy to date another Filipina).
I've found in my experience saying white North Americans to be paaaaaaainfully exhausting. The sheer (often unintentional) ignorance from them is just tiring.
I'd rather date someone who shares a more world wise view, which I find common in most non-North American cultures.

Of course, and I did! I’m Canadian, with mostly Russian background (although I’m not super in touch with it). My husband is from Serbia, very close with his family, although he did move here when he was 17 or so. Most other serb guys will stay with their family until they get married, like Greeks. We’ve been together for over 12 years now and it’s been the greatest adventure of my life.
Yes ofcourse:) my crush is Persian and I'm Swedish
I actually prefer it, I love my own culture but I hate the traditional thinking mindset and it can be really toxic in some areas
Yes, sure
