What is this thing about girls being in "eras"? Why don't guys have eras?

I've noticed the word era is being thrown around a lot right now with women. Don't guys have eras too?

They do, but do you really think men online want to claim or identify with a female trend when there’s such a massive divide between men and women online right now? You’re not going to find it as easily, and I doubt any posts from guys about their “eras” (modeled after Taylor Swift) are going to be as popularly received online as a woman’s post.

Boys have eras. If you're too cowardly to call them such, that's on the boys.

There haven't been any men's rights movements or men's rights groups fighting for them, that's why. Even Vietnam vets coming back were told to just suck it up for a full decade after they came home, and that was at the exact same time of the first "era" of feminism in the early 70's, that's why. PTSD wasn't even diagnosed until the early 80's.
