Do Women Care About What Men Wear To The Gym?

Okay, I notice many women sorta dress up to work out. Matching clothes, shoes, makeup, it's like a fashion show or something.

I'm realizing now that I've never matched cloths for exercising, why would I? Striped pants, patterned tank tops, whatever old cloths I have and I only have the one pair of running shoes.

I just started thinking, would women be more interested in a guy at the gym that dresses all matchy matchy.

It doesn’t matter you can have mismatch oversize T-shirt with swat spot shoes that you are committed to working out. Or you can be match making it appear more organized. Some people don’t give a shit and others need to feel together.

For me I like to match because to me it makes sense. It asl makes me feel dressed for work at the gym. It’s like the mentality of -if I stay in pjs all day I keep that sleepy sluggish nature going on.

But I have to say that one time a man did catch my eye wearing a thin gray long sleeve, thing gray shorts. A black hat, watch & shoes, and bag. He looked put together and he was very organized. He would keep setting his timer through this workouts. Pulls out hand towels dab dab then slips i into a little laundry bag 😂

My out look on it the fact that your at the gym is successful. I find that I dressed up because it helps with motivation.

That's awesome that it motivates you! Kinda like wearing a dress shirt for a job interview, it's time to get serious.
I used to wear my best cloth, dress shoes and get a fresh cut before I had exams in university - was a huge motivation for me.

Not going to lie, I honestly don't notice what guys wear to the gym, lol. I'm more likely to notice if you're doing something that makes you stand out (eg: lifting a lot, with good form of course, got a good rhythm going on a set, or you're next to me on the equipment and I glance over to see whom you are).

Otherwise? I don't care, lol. If you're putting in the work, looking and feeling good, and your body reflects it, I'll notice that more than some "matched" outfit you have on. It's the gym- wear what feels comfortable to you, don't be like some of these try-hards that come to the gym like it's a show; people like that actually annoy me.

There's some guys at my gym dressed like they are going to a rave, sunglasses and all... it's super cringe. Glad to know everyone feels the same lmao

Guys likely have plenty of clothes that would be fine for working out in. Gals likely would often have to buy something that would be comfortable for them working out in. And so they would likely see clothes for that purpose that are matching and buy those. I have never noticed shoes matching the rest of their outfit and have no idea what makeup would be considered matching. You must go to a strange gym.

when i would go to the gym (was 16-18) would absolutely notice what guys wore. but it was more like i'd notice if the fit was bad. most guys in my country dress in a lot nicer workout clothes (and care more about fashion in general and looking presentable) than i think American guys do, so if a guy wore some random shorts and tshirt with mismatching shoes i'd notice and be look dude how tf can you go in public like that. the dude would stick out.

i guess a guy would be more attractive to girls if he takes more care of how he's dressed yea. a dude wearing an integral adidas set is going to be more interesting than the same dude wearing random completely mismatched ratty stuff from the back of his closet

If anything, I silently admire men who wear whatever the fuck they want. That usually means like Goku shirts or really colorful leggings and superhero shirts, etc.

Men who wear their inspirations or fashion openly are deserving of my respect.

I don't go to a gym, however I know I would not care what men or women wore there or anywhere else truthfully. It's called sticking your big nose into other peoples business which I refuse to be part of. Maybe if a few of these snobby nose in your business people ended up with a broken nose once in awhile they might get the idea to mind there own business,

I think most people go workout and focus on themselves. Yea i’ll checkout the guy and probably his shoes if anything but definitely not what he's wearing overall. Its a place that people should feel comfortable in their body/clothes
