My cousin texts too much and she always thinks something is wrong if I don’t respond and it drains me what should I do?

She lives in another country 5 hours behind me and she tends to text every single day all day long. She in her 40s and keeps asking if there is something wrong if she doesn’t hear from me for a few days but I don’t want to text 24/7 I’d rather have days just living life getting things done like work, gym etc

Just tell her that. She is family after all. You should be able to talk to her and explain why you can't be available all the time and that doesn't mean there is something wrong. It just means you are busy with friends or family or work. Whatever it is that you are typically busy with. Just tell her that you will text her back when you have some time and that she needs to understand it won't be immediate or even every day. That should get the message across. If she is 40 years old then she should understand.
