What does it mean when guys stare at their girlfriends?

Two of my ex boyfriends used to stare at me and it was so awkward and sort of made me feel uncomfortable. May be I would understand better and it wouldn't feel so weird if I knew what it means. So what does it mean?

Depends on the guy. I'm pretty awkward and try to avoid staring at my girlfriend, but I can see how some people would do it without noticing. Chances are they just find you attractive, and at times find it hard not to stare or don't realize they are.

I have ADD so I've been in the situation where I'm staring at my girlfriend and had no idea. I don't think she's seen me and if she did she didn't mind. If they realize they're doing it, are staring obviously at your breasts or something, do it in public, etc, then it could just be they're being asses. Or they don't see many moral issues when it comes to sexuality. There is a difference in some cases.

If a guy gives you his attention, it is affection or attraction.

To me, a woman's face and eyes are the two most important things, as I will gaze at them when in love often.

Why, you don't want to lock gazes with your guy? In that moment, all that matters is you two, so make a lot of those!

It was the eyes, but I don't know I guess I'm not used to people staring and not saying a word...

If the eyes are the window to the soul, then wouldn't you want to look at each others' eyes to see each other for what they are? Especailly the one you most want to know and have know you?

When you can simply gaze at each other silently, you'll know. Trust me. :D (as having that (*sigh*) but no longer... ;) But, I will again!

My boyfriend does this to me ALOT, but he kind of explained himself as he once said to me 'you're so beautiful, sometimes I don't even realize that I'm just staring at you.' sweetest thing ever :)

I think it tends to be guys who are really in awe that they've got you, too.
