here's the breakdown -- she added me on instagram, i dont know her back in February 2023, we get to talking, im making her laugh, we have in depth convos about things like life, religion, political views, she's sending me memes and etc... she goes away for vacation in April which is fine then by summer late June she doesn't want to talk to anyone. We haven't met yet, but we were always in communication i called her here and there, she gave me her # which she felt was a big step to give. We met last Thursday for a first date, I visited her after work, I think it went great. I was a gentleman, I didn't want to hug her or touch her hand because I wanted to be respectful but I told her she looks nice and she is beautiful and thank you for taking the time to see me. I gave her a rosey-scented candle, paid for dinner, etc, I asked her how she enjoyed the night when we got home she said she enjoyed the time out and thanked me for the gift. I asked her if she would meet for a second date, but she didn't say yes or no, but she's been responding back to me but dodged the question.

I told her, listen, if you're not feeling a second date, if you have other guys after you, let me know and its ok you can focus your time on someone else I won't be offended. I asked her are you talking to other guys that you are interested... doesn't say anything. Earlier today she posts an Instagram story about she's bored and people can ask her anything meanwhile she doesn't want to talk to me so I'm tired of girls, she may be interested but I think she doesn't care about me, despite that yea she told me she wants to be protected by a guy but thats not news to me... I'm a 5'8 guy whos 155 with an athletic build she could be saying that to find a guy whos 6'3, 230 instead for that physical protection aspect because most women go based on that.

I'm really doubting myself because I have been hurt in the past by girls where even if i acted loyal, genuine, gave space, girls don't care and im tired of it now tbh and it seems she won't care about me at all. why did she add me on social media? why did she agree to go on a date with me? why did she give me her #? i dont get any of this shit.

Why would she lie and not like the date. She told me don’t go overboard and spend a lot. She even said although I’m tired I want to meet. If I feel that I was a gentleman why would I question myself that what I did was the worse date ever in her mind.
