What does it mean when girls say that they want to feel secure and protect by a guy?

I've heard this a lot of times... girls want a guy that make them feel secure and protect, what does it mean exactly? An aggressive man? Does it have relationship with the confidence of that guy? I don't really get it

For me it isn't even about physical strength to fight the world for me or anything. I just want to be able to feel vulnerable both physically and emotionally around him. I want to know he is going to just hold me in his arms and keep me from breaking down and also just give me that spot where I no longer have to be on guard for a while.

Basically it means you need to have more meat on your bones (you're too skinny).
