If no boy has ever asked you to homecoming does that mean no guy likes you or wants to take you?

Like I expected, no guy out of the 1500 at my high school asked me my last homecoming. since I have never been asked to a school dance including all 4 homecomings and proms, does that mean I'm undesirable? Many boys asked girls (a few even asked on the announcements at school and during an assembly in front of the entire school). Most other guys at my school are not shy either because most (I'm not even exaggerating... I wish I was) ask the girl in front of his friends! They are very confident. They ask different girls to each of the different dances too so it's not because they are afraid to ask girls they do not know very well. Most girls have been asked at least by one guy. Some have had several guys ask her to each of the dances. I, on the other hand, have not been asked even once in all of my 4 years in high school to a single dance. If you're wondering I'm thin and take care of my body/hygiene, dress well.
Please do not say ask a guy because I'm not going to do that. I just want to know if it's true that nobody likes me and if I'm undesirable since I have never been asked to a dance.

Trust me I know how you feel. I feel like I'm totally undesirable because no guys have asked me out or to do dance with them at a formal. My first homecoming is next month and I'm hoping I'll be asked, but I feel like it won't happen. But this does not mean that you're undesirable. Even though the guys at ur school may not be shy, they could just possibly be shy or uncomfortable with certain girls, like maybe they don't know you well enough, or they're worried they'll be rejected. Or maybe a guy does want to ask you, but is worried what others may think of him doing so. Many guys worry about their egos and about fitting in. But I'm positive there is a guy out there who likes/desires you... he could be that popular, outgoing, social guy who's worried about his ego, or it could be that quiet, geeky guy in the back, or someone you'd least expect. Anyhow, don't put yourself down. Trust me I feel ya 100%, but I have to keep telling myself these things. Also, don't dwell on it too much. You'll find tht right guy someday, whether it's in college or post-college, you just have to be patient. You are def not undesirable. Any guy who thinks otherwise is a jerk and that's their problem

I think you meant to say below his league. If anything he would worry about his ego if he was going out with an undesirable girl not a desirable one. Why would he worry about his ego if she's desirable?

I kinda just asked a homecoming question too lol. I have been asked only once and that was to homecoming. And honestly sometimes it's okay to ask the guy. I asked a guy one time and he said yeah but then he said no last minute cause he met a better girl. I'm not saying that will happen to you just ask a guy, like a friend. If the answer to this question is no, then the answer to your initial question must be no as well because indirectly, your mentality of not wanting to ask out a guy to homecoming could just be the same mentality of the guys who are actually interested in taking you out and neither or the guy have actually said that you didn't want to take each other to homecoming.

There could be many different reasons. Are you shy or nervous around guys? Your body language might be getting misread, as you not liking any of the guys. So they don't bother asking.

Most of the girls the ask are most likely very social, so they may know those girls better, and feel more comfortable asking.

They may be asking the slutty girls, and don't figure you will put out.

Without knowing more it is impossible to tell for sure what the cause is. I am sure that there is at least a few shy boys in your school that would love to go with you. They can't all be that confident.
