Girls, Does working in the Medical field make you lose your modesty?

Oddquestiona96

I'm a nurse that works in cardiology. I have to do a lot if ekg which involve placing leads around the chest especially the left side. This often requires the person to be topless because bras usually have metal that interfere with it. (protip we can usually work around sports bras or bralettes)

This can be a little awkward to navigate as a male nurse. This usually involves trying find a female nurse to perform an ekg for me or finding a female to chaperone me. Then me be extremely careful to keep as much modesty as possible and communicate well with the patients cause it's usually pretty apparent that the procedure is awkward for them. We do provide gowns that open in the front to try and keep modesty.

However I noticed a big exception from females that work ithe medical field. A lot of them just don't care. When I offer to get a female nurse they usually refuse and tell me they are fine with a male, lots will open the gown for me when it come time to place leads exposing themselves, I even had a couple try to take of their shirt as soon as I hand them the gown and I have to ask them for them to wait for me to leave the room. I really don't mind. Tbh it makes placing the ekg easier and faster but is a funny trend I noticed in health care workers. Lots will have casual conversations as I place the leads. I mostlt have this behavior from other nurses, ma, and emt's. However there even been MD and PA who acted this way
