Is this just maturity; typical for women my age?

I’m in my mid thirties. I’ve noticed that the older I get, the less interested I am in fashion and in going out and the more down to earth I feel. I still go out occasionally with friends and there are a few men I talk to, but mostly when I’m not working, I prefer to stay home in comfortable, practical clothes.

I think that’s people in general. A lot of things things that we were so fascinated w don’t fascinate us as much. Like having to be at every single event, having the newest gadgets, etc. For me at age 45 staying home is a luxury. I’d rather be home, watch a game, eat dinner, spend time w my girl. I’m content w what I have in my life. Not that I’ve stopped trying to make it better for the both of us. I just don’t need all those things that I thought I did when I was younger. As you get older a lot of what you thought was important isn’t. Especially trying to impress people w purchasing things most people can’t afford. Gucci bag w no cash in it, makes a lot of sense lol

Yes it is. I started losing interest in lots of things at your age. It’s very normal.

Everything in my life is falling into place and I just feel less interested in anything non productive.

I am about to touch 30 and I exactly know how you’re feeling as I have been feeling same and with each passing days, things which makes me feel or it makes me feel worth of time is the only thing makes me get out of my bed.

Yeah, it took til my mid thirties to feel this way. It came on suddenly. I just realised I didn’t want to go out so much anymore and I was no longer vain about my looks. I just didn’t care as much.
