How do you feel if someone cries a lot?

Growing up, when we were just kids, my female cousins were such cry babies and my uncle (their dad) would loudly remind them that "crying is not allowed in this house!"

I seem to have heeded his words since I try to remember that I should keep my emotions in check.

But, my cousins, to this day, are still cry babies even though they're already fully-grown women.

When they cry, I'm annoyed!

If she cries about things that I feel matters like loss of someone, or heart break, or death of someone, destruction of her home, someone being dying in war then I will be supportive but if she cries over money or being poor, or not having Iphone and Gucci bags then no that's annoying.

It's too much. I can handle crying at times, there can be good reasons or just pms.

But instant ups and downs of mood too much for me, exhausting to be around.

Whats annoying is them making a huge deal about me not messing them for a day and it takes an entire 1 to 2 days to get them calmed down. When they don't message me for a day I don't get really worried if its been a couple or more I do. But I don't scold them for it. I feel I am far more understanding of life and needing me time than they are 😞

Well it doesn't annoy me. Just feels sad seeing all the tears and mostly it's about stuff that's not that significant either. Realised lately, it's just a character trait so try to just be there.

It depends on the emotion. Crying would not bother me. Throwing stuff at my head is a different thing.

If you're close with them, sure. If you're not, it can be awkward. Like one time in college me and this girl were waiting for the third member of our group and she was going through some things and just started crying right there in the library. I started texting the other girl to hurry up, because I don't know what to do.
