Girls, is it appropriate for me to go swimming with all females and I’m only male?

I’m a straight guy with an average body and I’m going swimming with four girls all in their twenties and attractive. They are wearing two piece swimsuits and they want me to take my shirt off. Is the male chest not private in US or something? I have no problem swimming with no shirt but want to make sure it’s appropriate with only girls I’m swimming with.

As long as there is no hanky panky between you and the girls, then it is appropriate. It is one of those gender discrimination that men are allowed in public bare chested while women are not.

What I find bizarre is that the girls want you to remove your top and that is highly suspicious. It is not really any of their business how you dress to go swimming as long as you are wearing something to cover your groin area.

The fact alone that those women are asking such a question, make such a requirement or impose this on you would be enough for me not to go swim with them.

Swimming without a shirt on is very common! It's only weird if you make it weird. Like, don't act creepy and stare at their boobs and stuff. That'll make them not want to spend time with you.

Yeah, I don't know why this is weird. I’m a girl but when I go swimming with guys they all take off their shirts. And the guys I know like being flirted with when they have no shirt on.
