Girls, Is it normal for a girl. To have a bunch of naked selfies off herself. On her phone?

I had a friend, back in the day. Who once told me she had a collection of naked selfies of herself on her phone. When i asked her why. She said she had them so she could look at them when she felt self conscious of her body. She also said she had them just in case a guy asked her.

I asked another friend sometime later. If she thought that was normal. She said she had a collection of topless pictures for those exact same reasons. Do girls usually have naked pictures of themselves on their phones? Have you ever done that? Is that normal?

I have a hard time remember what my body looked like in the past as well as some body dysmorphia. I've learned that seeing what my body has looked like in pictures helps me to appreciate myself more and better understand what I actually look like. I may feel fat one day, take a pic, and realize I still look great. I'm just not seeing myself right from my p. o. v.

I rarely send out any pics even to my partners, but I do have plenty for the reasons above. An ex even got angry at me for not sending them to him. He didn't understand why I would take them if I wouldn't send them to him or anyone, but they were for ME. It's completely normal.

Ok, i can see that. Both of them did say they had some clothed and unclothed. So they could look at them when they felt they didn’t look good. What are your thoughts on having explicit ones so they could send them when a guy asked?

I can understand that. A guy they are with might ask on a day when they aren't feeling sexy and don't want to take pics. Like if they are on their period. So, they take them on days when they feel great and just save them for later.

Nope. That's not normal. At least it isn't unless you're a hoe that shares them with a lot of people. I don't need to have naked pics of myself to review my body. I see it naked daily when I take a shower. Every day. I haven't once been sitting anywhere thinking to myself damn I wish I had a pic of me nude to look at and crtitque my body just in case I missed something. I think that is an excuse to have them on there and the real reason is they are slutty and hand those out like Halloween candy. They just don't wanna admit it.

I mean, it's not NOT normal but it isn't something you see every day. Honestly, your friends' reasoning is very valid and honest as well. Like that's really good for them to be honest. They have boundaries for themselves and they are old enough to know what is okay and what isn't okay. This feels okay to them so there's no reason to judge, just more to be curious because this isn't an every day occurrence. Let them live their life, they seem prepared anyways. Nothing wrong as long as they aren't hurting anyone tbh.

It may be normal for narcissists to do so, but I don't think normal girls do that "normal" thing. What, do they give nudes to any guy who asks? Why give them for free when you can strut your wares on Only Fàns?

It struck me as a little narcissistic at first. But after my other friend said she did i didn’t know if it was a normal thing or not. I have no idea what thing a guy had to do in order for them to send a nude one. This was also before only fans.

Um well I sometimes have naked selfies on my phone too, but I don't have a collection of them. I know that there are eating disorders that often have a "body check" folder Where you take multiple of the same body part to see if you still have a certain body type. It's very unhealthy. So I hope that's not why your friends have that folder

I don’t think they had eating disorders. Or at least i never saw anything that suggested it. I think they were honest and only had them to feel good about themselves or to show guys they had a thing for. Don’t answer if this is too personal. But why do you have yours?

I have lots of naked pics of myself but thats just me, but I know a lot of other girls do too. Most girls have at least taken naked pics of themselves at some time even if they dont show anyone. Personally i luv to pose naked and show off.
