Why do women rarely accept the truth when we tell them?

This is just weird to me. I tell a lady the truth and she still believes the opposite.. Look if you ask us questions, and we tell the truth it's YOUR fault if you fail to accept the truth or believe choose to believe the opposite.

Because they think w a female mind for obvious reasons. For some reason they feel as though men should think the same way. If we don’t something is wrong w us, not them. Plus a lot of them focus on what you say as far as how it makes them feel, not really what is said. I had a girl who I talk to the other night ask me why she can’t find a man. She’s cute I might add. I said you want me to be honest. She’s like yes please cause I’m about to give up. I said because you’re very masculine, you like to argue, you can’t hold your tongue. She’s like no that’s not it a lot of men tell me I’m cute. I said see this is why men don’t talk to women because you can’t let go of what you think is the truth when you’re asking the man directly then he tells you. Of course she was a little upset that I said that. She didn’t take it as yes men don’t want that. She took it as me being mean. Most of the time they react on emotions to what you said as far as how it made them feel.

What if it's something internal to me, about how and why I'm feeling a certain way? For her to believe something other than what I'm telling her as the truth is a slap in the face, it's essentially calling me a liar, which I do not tolerate.

She shouldn't overreact but still, your feelings aren't truth. It's your opinion.

A lot depends on how you present it. If you say "because of YOU" she will get angry for sure. She will defend her integrity, because your words are clear attack.

If you express your feelings "in this and that situation I felt that and this way" it's less threatening and your chances are higher to be heard and understood.

Oh God I never blame her for my feelings. There are times when I have a bad day at work. I come home and want nothing more than to have a hug and be left alone, it's worse this time of year. I told her as such. And she refused to believe me.. These aren't opinions, they are facts about what I've been going through, and she refuses to believe me.. So explain to me how facts about my life and what happens at work are opinion?

My experience tells me that the way you present any of your stories is more important than the story itself.

I work in IT.. I literally told her that her actions on the web would lead to her computer being broken, and her identity stolen. Weeks later, what I said would happen, happened. She's blaming me.. Its not my fault she refused to listen. This is an attitude I have encountered in most women. They ignore advice to their detriment and then blame everyone but them selves.
