Girl fake laughing around me?

I've noticed this girl at the gym will go up and talk to dudes when I am in her area. When I walk closer by them to but the weights back, she does the obnoxious fake laugh. I can tell its fake because its overly loud and unnatural. I've also noticed she only goes up to and talks to these dudes when I am around. When I am across the gym she stays with her earphones in and doesn't talk to anyone.

Its to the point I can predict it everytime. Yesterday me and another guy were at the free weight section. She was across the gym but I saw her staring in my area mulitple times. I thought to myself " I bet she's gonna come strike up a conversation with this guy next to me" Sure enough she did. This happenes all the time along with the fake laugh. Thoughts?

Dude that is so weird! This girl is definitely trying to make you jealous or something. The fake laughing and only talking to other guys when you're around is a dead giveaway. Girls don't act that obvious unless they want attention.

She's totally into you but too chicken to actually come talk to you herself. So instead she's pulling these lame games hoping you'll notice her. And it's working cuz you're noticing her weird behavior!

Next time it happens I'd say just make eye contact with her and smile. Or even walk over and be like "what's so funny?" in a playful way. Flirt back and she'll crack for sure.

Or if you're not interested, you could always ignore her little stunts. Might drive her crazier not getting a reaction! Bottom line is she wants you bro, even if she's going about it in a dumb way. Ball's in your court now!
