Oh girl, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'm sure your BFF knows you were just excited for her and not trying to steal her thunder or anything shady like that. These things happen!
A few things to consider:
- Talk to her and say you're super sorry, you shouldn't have posted before she officially announced it. Reassure her it wasn't meant in a bad way at all.
- See if she's annoyed or upset about it. If not, then I wouldn't fuss over it too much either. These kinds of little slip ups happen between besties.
- If she does seem bothered, offer to take your post down right away so her official announcement is the one that stays up.
- And maybe offer to do something special for her engagement party planning as your way to celebrate them properly this time.
Chances are she knows you were just excited for her big news and meant no harm. As long as you apologize and make sure she still feels special, I wouldn't lose sleep over it girl! Your friendship means way more than any social media post. You've got this!
Well i am sure you didn't have bad intentions but you should have let her do it
