Guys, What signs are a sure giveaway that a girl likes you without telling you directly?

Well I've seen and HAD girls display what seemed like signs toward me, acting clearly different towards me than other people, small things like resting head on my shoulder etc. But every time I expressed my interest towards them it's like they're turned off or act the furthest thing from interested. So I really don't know how to understand girls interest unless they were to actually lay it out and tell me straight up.

Gives you so much attention and tries to talk, chat, meet you whenever possible. They will laugh at your humor and want to do things together.

I don't know. Women really aren't direct enough. I guess somewhat of a giveaway is if she compliments me and will keep a conversation going. But I don't consider it a sure thing. If I want to know if she really does like me, I'll just tell her how I feel and find out for myself.
