Body language speaks volumes.

I think a lot of people these days suffer from some level of social-emotional agnosia, also known as emotional agnosia or expressive agnosia. It is the inability to perceive facial expressions, body language, and voice intonation.

I don't know if some of that could be the result of interacting with people via phone and computer screens instead of face to face in a social context.

It also tends to be found in people with a diagnosis of Asperger or autism. Approximately 1/166 people in 2006 were on the autistic spectrum. Today, it is 1/54. An epidemic of genetic disorders in not possible, so the problem must be environmental. Some people suspect the increase in childhood vaccines, although the pharma industry and its partners in the AMA deny it.

Either way facial expressions and body language give fantastic cues if one knows how to read them. If that fails, I guess spelling it out for them might be necessary. Or one could try hitting them over the head with a club is the last resort.

Eye contact. If she looks away after a few seconds of us locking eyes.

She will stay in your proximity. (example the next aisle in the store reading a label)

She will follow you but keep her distance.

Prior rapport approach ( someone you already know)

Smile for no reason

Hold her hand over her face in a cute flirty way.
Using her hands to talk and her excitement level goes up when you indirectly compliment her

When I like a guy, I'm really shy towards them, and I don't speak. If I do, my voice is really quiet and soft and they often can't hear me. I won't be surprised if they don't like me back.

I used to think I could read women but then I had a bunch of stupid bs situations happen where the woman changed her mind and then tried to act like I was "misreading" her signs. This has happened to me often enough that I just started getting other people's input whenever a woman tells me anything, I document all of our interactions and I honestly don't assume shit about anything ever. I've learned that even if we're hot and sweaty and she has her legs wrapped around me in a dark bedroom; we're probably just friends and she's practicing her jujitsu moves ahead of a big tournament she hasn't told me about.

If she flips her hair a lot while talking to you, or unconsciously looks at you often, or blushes, or she purposefully avoids eye contact, or flirts (which is pretty obvious), or starts talking about sex which is also obvious (but that may just be lust).

So like/lust are two different things, remember some women just wanna hit it and quit it.

Whatever nonsense she’s trying to do is reflexively ignored, and the only signal that’s trustworthy and respectable is actively speaking interest. Or bold physical moves could work.
