A friend of mine recently went through a breakup with a narcissist. Almost cost her her life. Her own words she doesn't know what a healthy relationship is. We met at her work. I delivered something and she contacted me from her personal number when I ordered parts there. She also had an attempt on her life when we first met, I bought her flowers anonymously with positive words attached to each flower. Days later I told her it was me. Recently she showed me she still has those cards.
But each time she gets drunk she contacts me and only want to talk to me. Shares stuff with me that no one knows. Not even her psychologist.
The breakup came and she moved. Sharing with me everything as it happens. That night she tried to take her life. I was the only one who knew she might and was the only one who tried to phone people. I even tried to get hold of her psychologist.
She got mad for that and we didn't speak for a week asking me to leave her alone. She contacted me again and said she didn't know how to handle that because she feels I went through a lot of effort for her and she didn't know what to do with it.
Since then we have spoken everyday but she is avoiding questions like can we grab a cup of coffee. She recently went to visit her parents and got 2 tatoos. One was a tribute to her daughter she lost right after birth. Other one is a tattoo with a motivational word. I asked her what is the second tattoo. It was in a very intimate and private place under the bikini line close to her privates. I didn't expect that at all but complimented her.
She shared with me when she relapsed, she shared with me her childhood traumas, she always contacts me constantly when she has had few drinks, she shares stuff that she can't tell her phsycologist, random things throughout her day when she sees beautiful flowers or clouds, she shows hot and cold behavior every now and then and now last the tatoos. Specifically the very intimate one. To a guy this is wtf? Ladies?
