Cuz if you hit a man, his body can take the impact better than a woman.

Besides, by definition, hitting someone that's smaller or less stronger than you will make you a bully or abuser.
Either way you're probably gonna end up in big trouble when other men around you notice that you hit a woman. They'll probably beat you up for doing so.

If she's insulting you to the point that you wanna hit her, just walk away, go to the gym and take your anger out on a punching bag.
Then come home and go to some kinda counseling WITH her, or dump her.

Still, either if you "hit back" or if you're the one hitting first as a man, it won't matter much. At the end of the day our punch will land just as hard on a woman.
You're still the one in the situation that is capable of doing more physical damage, so you're also the one that must show more restrain.
Apart from that, we men are logical creatures. Not emotional creatures. So you're better off walking away from the whole situation, even though you got hit.
Call the police on her ass, sue her... but just don't hit back.

At the end of the day, you're the one indeed whose gonna get looked down upon as a bastard.

women are more frail and weakly built physically than dudes, you'll do a lot more physical damage than if you were hitting a guy. it's also the easiest thing ever for a guy to physically restrain a women. so unless it's really warranted or unavoidable it's better to avoid beating a woman
