How come when the truth come out your mouth, people want you to shut up? Was my friend Ariana wrong?

I never understood people. someone commented on my post that I was childish but it’s deleted. How come people call you “childish” after a person defend themselves against someone? Now a person is suddenly “childish”

People in this city is fed up with bullying. These bullies pick with others but as soon as they family members or whatever get picked on, they can’t handle it
