Any reasons why people offensively called me a child/kid when I was an adult?

Kid and child are technical terms, not relative terms. I hated it when my stepfather called me a kid this year. A clinician said it was rape and that I was a child when I said I dated a 55-year-young lass at age 18. A contemporary pupil called me a kid at 18 as well.

I imagine that you a referred to as a kid or child because either your thinking or behavior exemplifies the thinking or behaving of a child and/or kid. A kid is an animal raised for slaughter. I don't even use that word. A child is a young human, and since humans aren't fully developed in many ways at 18, I thinks it's ok to be called this way. Even I find myself being too childish at times.

Child and childish ain’t the same. Child is defined as person who came of age, or went into maturity, which for me was at like 13.

It's common to be young dumb full of cum in our 20s... and best if we admit it and don't pretend to be more mature than we are. I do not get offended if someone 30 years older views me as a kid, I probably appear that way from their viewpoint.

Nu, they are thinking wrong. Kid is someone YOUNGER than 18 or hasn’t hit puberty. Age is a number, love is love. A Jewslim is an ethnical Jew who became a Muslim, or similar.

18 is still a child tbh even though you are legally an adult. You aren't really a full adult until like 24 or smth in my opinion

By which respects do you mean? Legally I was an adult. Biologically I was an adult, as I hit puberty at like 13.

Well first of all yes legally you are an adult but I am saying that despite what the law says, 18 in my opinion is too low to be considered an adult, maybe an old teenager or a young adult but not a full fledged adult.

Your brain doesn't fully develop until I believe 25 and you still continue with puberty even after 18 for a couple years. At 18 you haven't gone through the same life experiences as an average adult, and you are just starting college or have been in the workforce at low end jobs for a couple years and are starting a better job. A good amount of 18 year olds still live at home as well.

Well I'm not the people who made the law... As I said yes legally you are an adult at 18 but in my opinion that should not be the case. Besides you can't even get alcohol before 21 right?

You’re right. My mistake. Typo. 25>21, by the way. In the mental hospitals I’ve been to, they mix 18-year-olds with way older patients. I actually had some sexual acts done in one hospital when I was 18 and my partner was 27. Is that also messed-up? I did read your replies.
