Do girls try to find reasons to talk to you?

So I was out walking my dog I’m very introverted and this girl is on the phone but I notice she keeps looking over at me and eventually asks if she can come over and pet my dog.

They can find reasons to talk to you if they are interested in you out of curiosity or if they like you. But in my opinion wn introvert girl will nit find reasons to talk to you out of curiosity unless they have some serious matters to talk to you. So please dont get wrong idea and have a good conversation with them if they approach you.
