Why do girls ask why do I talk to them?

I'll message random girls on facebook and I think it's really sad the attitude some of these women have about it. They are like you don't even know me, why have you been trying to talk to me? Now this doesn't always happen, but in my opinion if this question comes up it's usually a big red flag that the girl probably isn't of very good quality.

Here's my take on it. Why does it matter? Do people not look for new people to hang out with? I guess she just automatically assumed that I want to date her? by the way we talked on the phone for the first time and she tells me early on she has two boyfriends. She's like you could be my third if you wanted... yeah right fuck that shit.

So lets just say you meet someone the more conventional way like say through a friend. Just because your friend introduces you to them, doesn't mean you guys will get along. I mean how many people end up being a totally different person 3 months down the line than the person you first met? Including the one your friend introduced you to.
