so i met this girl on instagram she lives in another state. we’ve been talking for a week and we ft for the first time last night. i know when i first met her she was mad because i didn’t reply for like two hours but i had took a nap. i explained to her i dont like to call and i like to call at night because im busy during the day. i explained to her i didn't wanna get attached to her just yet. she sends me pictures and videos of her everyday and i do the same. she has siblings to watch so i understand why she doesn’t reply and she goes hours without replying sometimes. i reply back fast as possible but i am busy during the day so i can't call. so this morning we were texting back and forth over and over mind you i really like this girl and we’ve both already sent each other explicit pictures and messages. so she was like call me she misses me. she is bipolar so i don’t know is this something she does or she just blocks. she was like call me she misses me and i was already out the house. we had another short conversation and she was saying i was trying to get out of calling her rn and if i didn’t want to say that and she says i don’t even like you nm cause you did that. she says that very often whenever i do something. so i text her back fast as usually and i set my phone down for about five minutes she says ftm she misses me i didn’t see the message because i had put my phone down and then a few minutes later she says “im breaking up with you we done” . im blocked now and i don’t know did she block my other account or did instagram just block it on its own because it automatically does that she didn’t block my tiktok but i’ve took down my instagram account now. i really liked her and i don’t know is this something she does. her friends still follow me but i’ve took instagram down now.

Dang dude, that whole situation sounds super dramatic. A few things could be happening here:

- Like you said, she's bipolar so her emotions may swing quickly. Blocking you out of anger/sadness seems extreme though.

- She might be really insecure in the relationship since you're long distance and not able to see each other every day. So any delayed response feels like rejection.

- It's possible she blocked you just to get a reaction and pull you back in. Some people play games like that when they feel unsure.

I would lay low for now since the blocking was so sudden. Maybe reach out in a few days if she hasn't unblocked you to see what's up. Say something like "Hey, hope you're feeling better. Let me know if you wanna talk when you're ready."

Don't double text or beg - let her come to you this time. In the future, maybe reassure her more that you're still interested even if you can't respond immediately. Long distance takes extra effort to feel secure.

Dude that's wack, I don't blame you for deleting your stuff so she can't mess with you anymore. You were right to be upfront that you don't like calling much, and it's unfair of her to get mad just because you were busy and out like a normal person.

Girls can be manipulative trying to make you chase them, but you saw through that game she was playing right away. Props to you for not taking the bait and getting sucked into her drama. You held your ground by continuing to do your own thing instead of dropping everything any time she demanded attention.

She’s just one giant walking red flag. Let this experience be a teaching moment. You had been talking for only 1 week and even in the begginning of that she was mad because you didn’t reply for two hours. That’s not normal behaviour on her part. You’ve never met her irl, only talked for a week and already she’s said multiple times she’ll break up with you, she doesn’t like you anymore and is upset if you don’t reply or call immediately. You’ve also already sent explicit pictures (which is illegal if you’re under 18, it counts as possession and distribution of child pornography even if you took and sent the pictures yourself. Make sure you don’t have any pictures left). She’s bipolar, which explains some of her behavior. Never, ever, date someone like this again. Cut contact immediately when you notice they’re like this. You’d have a very toxic and emotionally damaging relationship with someone like that and you’d create a trauma bond too (google if you don’t know what it is). It would be a toxic on and off relationship for years and if you get someone like that pregnant and she has the baby you’re screwed for the rest of your life. She’d make your life hell and mess that kid up completely in the process.
