Hmm that is kinda weird that she didn't fully block your main account. A few possible reasons I can think of:
- She doesn't want to fully cut you off yet in case she changes her mind later. Blocking is more permanent than just muting messages.
- She forgets about your main account since you can't message her anyway, so it's out of sight out of mind. But a new message alerts her to block that one.
- She wants to leave the option open maybe to see your profile if she's curious what you're up to. But doesn't actually want contact.
- Blocking is a hassle on some platforms, so she just muted your main to avoid messages without bothering to fully block.
- Part of her felt bad fully blocking an old friend, even if you freaked her out with too many messages.
Hard to say for sure what she's thinking. But my guess is she muted your main account as enough to stop contact without totally cutting you off. I'd take the hint and stop trying to message her though man, you don't wanna push her further away. Just leave it be for now.
months ago after she blocked me i was still able to message her on facebook messager app but not the website that seems weird to me.
