Are there any women who give flowers to their boyfriend/husband?

Majority of men only receive their first flower during their funeral. It is because men are taught to just give or provide. We we're never told to accept any gifts from the opposite gender because this is considered as unmanly. Women are also taught to only receive and only give towards their offspring (children).

As a man, I've never received flowers nor compliments. Never will because I don't even see myself as Steve Harvey.

No I have never given flowers to a boyfriend but really never gave it a thought to give him flowers. I am not really into flowers myself. They die and they are gone. I have bought gifts for holidays or birthdays for previous boyfriends so I don't know where you are getting the whole girls don't give gifts. I don't know of anyone of my girl friends that don't buy their SO's gifts. Not one of them. So I don't know if maybe where you are from it isn't customary but here it is very much so. I also don't get the women only accepting gifts from children. That is also very untrue for where I come from. My dad and my mom's siblings buy her gifts for mother's day and her birthday and so on. So not sure where you are getting these ideas.

I ask this because a man will receive his first flower when he dies. Like, I don't want to buy flowers for myself, I want it given from another person. But most probably, no women will ever buy flowers for their partners.

I probably wouldn't because I don't see the point in buying flowers that just die. I have bought gifts for guys I have dated, just not flowers.

That is literally all I have talked about is how I would by things for my SO's just not flowers. You sound now like you are someone just here to complain and have that "woe as me" attitude.

I love buying gifts for my boyfriend but I have never given him flowers. I also compliment him a lot in hopes that it’ll help him see himself in a much better light. I’m not sure if he’ll be happy about getting flowers as a gift tho, he’s already uncomfortable about receiving gifts for me bcs like you said, he said it’s “unmanly” and that it’s his job to buy me things instead. It’s sad really…

Let's be fair, now: most guys never ASK for flowers, and most, if given them, wouldn't be sure how to feel. Flattered, probably, but more confused, and possibly insulted, if they think "flowers are for women".

If we're going to tell women to be more upfront and ask for what they want, it's only fair to have men do the same.
