I read a study a while back that most women find it attractive. It’s sad how something bad such as putting ink in your skin is attractive.
I’m against tattoos as I relate them to bad characteristics in a person.

You didn't specifically list that you would like it if only females give their opinion, though you did refer to a study involving women... so I hope you don't mind if I give my opinion too.
I love them! I, myself, am now +/- 40-50% covered and I am aiming for 90%; possibly my head included. I would dearly love my next romantic partner to be fully covered too.
May I ask what kind of bad characteristics you are referring to?
This is me (I have had some more work done since. Everything up to my knee has been done, my lower leg has the drawings on it, my foot still needs to be done)
Apparently I can only post 1 picture again... My backside and side have been done too
What exactly do you find attractive about tattoos?
@Daniela1982 I feel a good design or choice of pictures can enhance a body's appearance.
I strongly feel would someone go for a lot of little colourful, small, cartoonish pictures it looks... messy... especially when it comes down to the head; but if people go for full sleeves, or what I am doing 'full body', and stick, largely, to the same pattern it comes close to 'Tribal' People (E. g. Māori).
I am very interested in other cultures (I should have become an Anthropologist...), and love Tribalist things.
More and more is becoming clear about my medical past... I have been able to retrieve 35 year old records from my country of birth and they are quite revealing. There's a very reasonable chance that I have suffered tremendously from 'Body Dysmorphic Disorder', probably from my 10th till 30th Birthday (when I got into my previous relationship; I thought I had it all, everything I had ever dreamed of, and that made me really confident... also about myself). I've never been satisfied about myself, but I have noticed that from the moment I started to plaster myself full with tattoos my self-perception rose tremendously. Tattooing is addictive, there is no question about it. I also see my Tattooing sessions as Therapy... The countering of 'Bad' Pain with 'Good' Pain. There have of course been some uncomfortable spots, but in general I can handle the 'discomfort' of tattooing really well.
(It's not uncommon that Trauma survivors to get into SM or BDSM... not for me though; I prefer gentle sex, not rough sex. I am not dominator, not do I want to be dominated)
@Daniela1982 I am also all of a sudden getting noticed by people... in a very positive way, even prior to having the tattoos (Had my first 1 when I was 21; continued when I was 41), but that has only increased the more tattoos I got myself. I have no people in my life, and try to avoid personal contact with people, but I do like to get into conversations with strangers outside. My tattoos, my Ferrets, dress style and being a Skinhead... here people still remember the origins of Skinhead, which is far removed from any hatred, racism and prejudice which has gotten attached to our subculture over the decades... will draw in a 'crowd'.
I totally abhor tattoos and find them an absolute turn-off.
It seems to become a fashion like shaving everywhere. Because one Hollywood bimbo has one, everyone must suddenly have one as well. Sometimes I think that those people are just like sheep that jump over the cliff just to do like the alpha sheep. They don't think with their brains but just need to do like all the others.
I guess that is the new stupidity of our society.
I can understand if someone puts a discreet tattoo about the birthdate of their children somewhere discreet and that is not visible but to have tattoos everywhere is just simply ugly and does not show much character and personality.
The same by the way applies to those that have piercings.
You and I speak the same language. ☺
Yeah, they look just lovely. 🤮

I would never get those lmao that’s horrendous
@SueShe Probably something like "The Freakshow of the Damned."
Depends on where they are: neck, face, lower arms and legs are not attractive to me.

Not particularly, but some designs are very artsy. One guy I met -- a cop -- had a really intricate cherry blossom tree wrapped around his arm that was very tastefully done. But of course to maintain it he'll have to keep up those muscular arms well into his golden years otherwise the design just won't look the same... (It's something more guys should think about...)
One other friend has a more discreet design on his ankle... We just see it when he's at the beach and he has it touched up every few years so the ink doesn't fade.
That's a downside as a lot of tats do fade over time. Some even within months.
Depends on the tattoo, placement and amount of tattoos.
It can be either super attractive or not.
It all just depends.
I don't see it as something bad or unattractive on its own. Whether it's on men or women.
It’s attractive on some people and neutral on others. It also depends on if they’re well made, well placed and what they are. Bad tattoos or tattoos I don’t like could be unattractive.
That very much needs to be determined on a case by case basis.
There are exceptions but generally trashy people have tattoos.
Personally I absolutely loathe and hate all tattoos whether they're on males or females.
Depends on tattoos but good tattoo is always attractive
I find them very attractive.
What is it about them?
Tattoos are sexy especially on women 😍
A little goes a long way.
Perspective.
