+1 yAgain, this is all a matter of tastes. If you love 'em, the more the merrier, I suppose.
But my feelings are there can be too much of a good thing. Covered with tats all over your arms, neck, body, is too much.
But people do tats for a reason. Most often to signify milestones. Sometimes to signify pain. That creeps me out.
I like unadulterated skin more than anything. The problem is, you can never take the tat OFF! And, no one's skin stays perfect their entire life. What looks good at 20, might be sagging and dragging at 60, and the tat faded. Removing them costs thousands, time and the same level of pain it took to put them on! I
You can buy tat "sleeves" and wear them temporarily, or use temperary tattoos that wash off in a week or two. That's as much commitmenet as I have to permanently altering my skin. I one very small one in an invisible area: my lower back. No one sees it unless they're in bed with me. That total has been 1 so far.
A few tats is plenty for me.310 Reply- +1 y
@Screenwriter I have seen a tattoo removal clinic pop up someplace last summer. I think it will be the next growth industry.

@exitseven You are hilarious... I saw a beautiful young woman in her 30s. Her arms were blanketed with tats.
However, I did see a man who was a former white supremacists who had tats removed from his face, chest and arms by a laser specialist who donated her time. It took more than a YEAR. But the removal was a significant as the installation. He WAS in existential pain and that's why he joined the crazy haters he did. He had no family and they became that. He had no focus and they gave him that. But as he grew older he changed and the removal meant far more to him. So I understand this. - +1 y
@Screenwriter I used to work with a girl who was really pretty, athletic and sweet. I think she was in her late 20s or so. She had a dragonfly tattoo on her neck. One day I asked her whatever possessed her to get this thing. She said her boyfriend had one and he wanted her to get one. A couple of months after he ended up dumping her.
- +1 y
@exitseven It's best to only do such drastic alterations if YOU have a reason to. Not because someone else wants you to. I got mine for me. It's small and not viewable, as it's on my lower back. It can't be seen unless I'm taking a bath or showering. I don't wear low-back swimsuits or midriff shirts and low-cut jeans. It's a generic Celtic symbol and in small lettering the words curve around the bottom half of the symbol: "Always a warrior."
- +1 y
@Screenwriter I was thinking of getting one and I still might. It's got to be something special.
- +1 y
@exitseven tattoo with what shape would you like to have?
- +1 y
@exitseven Do it for you and put it somewhere that everyone can't see it. I think there's a gigantic area of exhibitionism in people who slap them all over. They want to stand out, they want people to look at them, they want attention, they want people to talk to them about it. I don't. I know it's back there and I think about it on and off. I don't want to have discussions about it, unless I'm with someone who I'm intimate with. Again, few and far. Sometimes someone can see my lower back if I'm bending off and my shirt hikes up. But it's never happened more than once. I've had tat for more than 15 years.

+1 yTattoos only look good on fit women, because they are hot and it sells the tattoo.
Most are still pretty bad. Here are some i like.
Spinal tattoos are pretty feminine.

A little diamond behind the neck, unfortunately not the best quality and without color in this picture.

Some artsy thight tattoo

Somethings small like that, one or few here and there.

Floral sleeve on the chest works well.
And few others, can't upload more than 5 pics.
Garter tattoos are nice
Something small ribcage or under boob
Back/shoulder tattoo with flowers birds etc.
For some reason i really like a well done colored bow tattoo on the thighs.10 Reply
1.3K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Most are trashy. Actually, the trend is away from tattoo and simply silver/pewter metaled-up. And redneck with peacock hat, daisy dukes, jewelry around waist, and boots or stilettos on clean skin is trend.
-It’s almost full circle as untouched is now uncommon, therefore, valuable and “sexy”. Soon, it will be the same with the nose, eyebrows, and spread ear holes….
Skin art is very “tired” as in retiring.10 Reply

+1 yI highly dislike tattoos. I find them idiotic and classless. 100% of the people I have encountred with tattoos have issues or are toxic people. The size of the issues and level of toxicity usually corresponding to the size and amount of their tattoos.
50 Replysome are some aren't, i have my own tattoos i drew up and had done. art is a huge hobby of mine when not at work. artwork is a huge part of them being attractive for me like this would be a negative---

+1 yYes I do. And when people say think about when you get older. Your skin is gunna look gross regardless if there’s tattoos on it. It’s all wrinkled and saggy and you get liver spots so I feel like that is Terrible argument. I’d rather have a disfigured tattoo than a liver spot. Also I think old people should get tattoos.
20 ReplyNot unattractive but I'd prefer minimal or none. Most people are covered in them these days, it's not even unique anymore. Every guy seems to get a sleeve when they turn 18 like they think it's what you need to look masculine or something. That's what I find annoying about them, but obviously people can do what they want.
10 Reply479 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Long term these things will be an utter disaster , its just a trend that you can't get rid of --I'm old enough , that when you banged a girl with Tatts she was almost certainly a slut , you'd come back and say " hey I did this bitch with a tramp stamp " hahaha - Now when you find a clean skin , its like WOW -- untouched canvas , its just EVERYONE , that's not a good outcome long term. NO NO and NO
10 ReplyNot particularly... it rarely enhances a persons looks and is likely to downgrade it.
Even if I like the art, I don't think it needs to be on the skin to be appreciated.
Still it depends on how, what and where is done and if it's tasteful.10 Reply
+1 yTbh I don’t like it when women get inked up. A few small non visible ones here and there isn’t the end the world. But when a women gets tattoos it’s like putting bumper stickers on a Ferrari.
I expect a bunch of down votes from a few girls on that one. But hey it’s my preference and quit tying to f*cking force men to change preferences. Men know they can’t force women to change preferences whether they are fair or not.20 Reply- 1.1K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic.
+1 yHell no.
Even I could handle tattoos... if they were temporary and they come off after a few days. Them being permanent is the part I hate.
I wouldn't want to look at that green ink blob covering my girl's beautiful skin.
Deal breaker.10 Reply
+1 yYes. I have a fair amount of them myself. Art that becomes a part of you. I wait a good chunk of time before adding just to be certain, but my mind always stays solid on the next idea. They all have deep meaning. Usually realism portrait memorials.

This is why I get a lot of Henna tattoo's, even though I have a few real ones, want to try it out before making it permanent, but I'm getting more and more Henna over real ones so I can be decorated differently.

@Aerissa_Jade
Nice and very smart!
+1 yno. i can't understand why people get sleeves. By the age of 60 your arm skin is going to sag so bad and it will look extremely unattractive. You eventually get old. How about 80? or 90?
51 Reply- +1 y
Yes, as opposed to the sexy sexy saggy arm skin of non-tattoed 80/90-year-olds.
+1 yTattoos are hawt as hell

I just have the one. I want more but I don't know if I could handle a bigger one, and I don't have the money for it rn anyway.
10 ReplyDepends on the quantity. Body covering tattoos are a 100% turn off, but a few small tattoos here and there - I don't mind and they can even be slightly attractive.

+1 yBody art is sexy!! People with tattoos are some of the most creative, and genuine individuals. I got my first one in remembrance of my grandma, and to cover a hideous scar from when I broke my ankle.
23 Reply- +1 y
If it is body art why don't guys get sleeves on their dicks or girls on their boobs and nipples?
- +1 y
I’ve seen a guy with a spider tatt on his dick, and know plenty of cancer patients who’ve received tattooed areolas when they had to get their breasts removed. You don’t have to like it, but it is considered body art.
- +1 y
I've seen a video on a guy who tats on areolas on reconstructed breasts. I don't think anyone would have a problem with that type of tat. From what I saw they looked real. The just wouldn't pass the tongue test.
+1 yDefinitely! When their done well and the placement compliments the body tattoo's truly become artwork! 😊
Although I do have to say the cheap s****y tattoo's that look like a badly done temporary transfer do look worse than awful! 😋10 ReplyIt depends on the tattoos themselves. Because a bad quality tattoo is a bad tattoo. If it looks like you got it at home and the person that did it was a bad tattoo artist it's not attractive. The same goes with tattoos that deal with a persons ex.
10 Reply1.3K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Nope. I think they look like graffiti. I particularly dislike them on women. They add nothing to a woman's beauty but only mar their beautiful, delicate skin.
20 Reply685 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Nope. I've never seen an attractive tat. I've seen tats that were works of art but they did not enhance or make the woman with the tat look better. In fact they detract from a woman's natural beauty.
+1 yyes, I find them attractive. I have one too, I plan to eventually get a sleeve. I think people attach a negative stigma to them. I feel like it mainly about the artwork and people often forget that.
+1 yIt depends, really. But I don't think they necessarily IMPROVE anyone's look.
40 Reply355 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. I do not find tattoos attractive, I've had to deal with too many that have become infected.
I cannot understand the current vogue for women who gone crazy with the number and size of tattoo's they are getting done.10 ReplyLove tattoos. The amount depends on the girl and how well they go together. I've seen some covered from head to toes, eyes and every crack and crevice with ink and it was either the sexiest or really cringey.

10 Reply401 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Yes, can be. But with limits. I hate too many meaningless tattoos. I prefer meaning and a story behind them. Not get tattoos because they are "cool".
10 Reply392 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Meh we all have our vices, tattoos are a form of self harm but do whatever you want
13 Reply- +1 y
Just curious, do you also think earrings are a form of self-harm?
- +1 y
@CheeseMonster well technically speaking yes, it is a form of mutilation. I personally would feel I am harming myself if I got pierced, which is why I won’t. It is mild cause the earlobe isn’t really needed or used for any function but it’s still better left natural in my opinion. You do you but this is my view
