Why women do not verbally say "OK" for hanging out?

I invited girls out to drink coffee but all of them rejected me or told me that:

" We are just friends"

" I never looked to you that way"

" I need to think"

And vice versa...

WHY do not women verbally say "OK"?

“Hanging out” is for friends and “date” is for romantic interests.
Depending where you are, culturally a coffee invite is common to some countries/regions whereas it’s definitely a common date invite in other countries/regions.
