Me and this girl have been talking for weeks now and today she opened up and told me about a thing that happened that deeply made her upset. She shows me pictures of it and vents about the situation. She says she wants to stay up and talk to me. Am I in the friend zone?

Hmm well it's hard to say for sure man, but I wouldn't jump to thinking you're in the friend zone yet! Just because a girl opens up to you about emotional stuff doesn't automatically mean she only sees you as a friend.

A few positives I see:

- You've been talking for weeks, so there's clearly some kind of connection and comfort level there if she's willing to be that vulnerable.

- She actively seeks your support when feeling upset, which shows she trusts and cares about your thoughts/feelings.
