What Girls Said
I don't think life is worse overall for me and I think men and women have advantages and disadvantages and that's just life. I wouldn't want to be a male I'm happy as female even if it sucks having a period and stuff like that.
Why are you happy with it?
I mean I'm born as a woman whether I'm happy with it or not so might as well enjoy the positives and not dwell on the negatives. I'm sure you have things you don't like about being a man but you wouldn't choose to wake up as a woman tomorrow would you?
I really can't think of anything I don't like about being a man but I sure as hell wouldn't want to be a woman
So you think it's worse to live as a woman? Or you're just fine with how you are?
Both. Being a woman sounds horrible.
Why do you think so?
Pregnancy
childbirth
periods
breastfeeding
less physical strength
More vulnerable to violence
Taken less seriously
I see what you mean but to me it's not a bad thing to be able to give birth to a life and nurture it with my body like even if that's a painful process it's a beautiful thing overall. And with less strength I'm more vulnerable but I'm also considered more valuable or worth protecting in emergency situations like say a mass shooting, men will put their lives on the line for complete strangers who are women just because of their protective instinct. Or on a sinking ship women and children leave first.
Do you want to be that reliant on others?
Personally having to rely only on myself would feel exhausting so I like knowing others would be there for me
Isn't that scary as hell?
It can be scary knowing I'm an easy target but I also feel like people are aware of that and try to prioritize my safety as a woman a lot of the time. And everybody needs people at the end of the day like even if you're a super strong man a psycho could just attack you with a weapon out of nowhere which is a scary thought too
I’ve never desired to be a man. Especially not the modern man who is financially equal to the modern woman. Maybe a wealthy man.
