A girl unfollowed on ig me but liked my old post?

A while ago I (M26) was talking to a girl (F23) on a dating app I thought she was cute but I wasn't interested in anything serious at the time and she was looking for a relationship. It was clear we were not aligned in what we ere looking for but she still asked me out a few weeks later. I was flattered and I think she's beautiful but I politely rejected her cause I really wasn't in a place to do such thing. After a while she unfollowed me on Instagram, so I did the same. After a couple months now she randomly liked my post. What is she trying to do, does she want me to reach out?

she probably misses you and wants you to reciprocate by making a move. I never unfollow someone and then randomly "like" their stuff. But I have stopped talking to someone and eventually "like" their stuff because I'd hope it grabs their attention, they miss me too, and reciprocate.

Sometimes old feeds still show up, even if you unfollow a person, so that like could have been random.

It happens from time to time on social media, Really not that uncommon. Even if it was intentional.

The way I'd view this is that it was probably an accident. She was most likely looking through your Instagram and accidentally liked a post. Seems to me like she was trying to see how you were doing/what was up in life, then not purposely, she double tapped. If you want to reach out, do it. There's no harm if you're no longer in contact.
