How can you tell if a girl wants you to talk to her?

So I was taking my dog to the dog park and I noticed this girl who I have seen before she has had her dog at the park before and she has smiled at me. Today she happen to be walking her dog by the fence of the park and when she seen me take my dog in she brought her dog around to go in she was only there a few minutes but it was a similar leaving smiling at me as she left.

Smiling is a great sign. And there's never a risk in just saying "hi, my names Jim" and seeing what happens from there.

She'll smile and look at you a couple of times.

I’m just horrible at reading signs so it’s double checking

Ok, NP. This is a pretty standard thing. (Guys do the same thing also. They'll look and smile even if they don't say anything.)

Yeah I happen to notice I think she’s really cute I don’t know if I make her nervous as to why she only stayed for a few minutes but then it wouldn’t make sense as to why she brought her dog in

Ah! You know, when the question initially popped up I didn't see the part about the dogs.

SO... She brought her dog around to let you know she has one... A quiet way to say see you around. Ok?

Oh no so I already knew she had a dog because I had seen her in the park before and that day she had walked by me made eye contact and smiled
