Should I ask a girl (friend) why she is silent and distant?

It is not the first time she has done this. Its getting annoying like I don't know if I did something wrong to hurt her or is there is something wrong with her... thing is I try to ask her but it falls on def ears like she does not answer or ignoring me. I have a sense of self worth and am asking... should I confront her about her silence? Or should I just be the patient, passionate, accepting every excuse she throws at me? Like give her 2 months and say "Hi" and act like everything is fine?

She might have noticed that you were interested in her, so she's trying to maintain the distance between you two. That and she probably gets into situationships with guys, and cuts her friendzoned orbiters off while she tries to make it into a real relationship. And when that fails, she goes back to getting her non-sexual needs met from the orbiters.
