Girls, why is this girl shy/quiet around me?

I’ve taken an interest in this girl. She’s cute, beautiful, smart, and fun to be around. But i can’t help but notice the moments we have together. For instance we’ll play video games together just me and her but whenever it’s just us 2 i find her very quiet and shy in a sense. But the second a friend joins she has confidence and can talk to me. Also happens in person as well, her tone of voice shifts to this low tone. but around everyone she’s talkative and goofy. it’s strange because she loves to tease me well, like she’ll start hitting things out of my hand, poke me, make fun of me which i find funny and cute. I also find her some how magically sitting next to me, being next to me in photos, or just being next to me in general. she’s more confident in texting/social media as she always chatting me up to play games, asking if i’m going to an event with everyone, or making fun of me as usual haha. she also replies to me

we also stay up pretty late playing video games or just chatting up. I’ve taken an interest in some of her hobbies that she’s showed me. she’s also taken an interest some of the hobbies i’ve been showing her.

It is just her nature. She is more the introvert type with you and a little more outgoing when other people are around.

This is not unusual because when other people are around, she feels like as if she has an emotional support from the others and does dare more things that she would not when she is alone with you. I do know a few people that act exactly the same.

However, this emotional support is usually from the people of the same gender and less with those of the opposite gender.

Once the link between you and her gets stronger, she may progressively get out of her shell.

I’m this way because I have an anxiety disorder. You make her feel nervous, anxious and uncomfortable if she only acts this way with you it’s definitely a sign that she likes you. If I rlly rlly like or love a guy I’m more quiet and have a hard time talking to him or feeling relaxed because I’m just so attracted to him.
