Female friend wants to meet my mom (we aren't dating)?

I (M, 20) ran into a female friend (F, 23) at her work on accident. She knows I don't have a car so I had to ride with someone so she asked me who I came with. I drove with my mom to go shopping there.

She was all like "oh I want to meet her can you find her?" I didn't want my mom to think I was interested in her so she didn't meet her that day but I showed up but the next time I stopped by she kept asking me if she could meet her.

I want to date this girl but I'm not sure if its a good idea and this was a while ago at this point. Same girl gave me her phone number and her address and literally showed me where she lives one time when she drive me home, and my friends are saying that these are all signs that she is into me and I'm a massive idiot. Could she be into me?

Yo dude, this sounds kinda weird ngl. Why is this girl so eager to meet your mom?

I mean don't get me wrong, she seems into you for sure based on everything else - giving her number, showing you where she lives, driving you home and all that. That's way past friendly stuff right there.

But randomly wanting to meet your mom when you're not even dating is a red flag in my opinion. Makes me wonder what her intentions are there or if she's tryna scope out your whole family situation.

I'd chill on letting her hang with your mom for now if you're not official yet. See if you can get some alone time with this girl to really feel out what's going on. Ask her straight up if she likes you as more than a friend.

Tread lightly with bringing family into it so soon. Get very clear on where you stand first before involving moms! But dude, you'd be dumb not to make a move with how into you she seems. Just handle with care from here. Let me know how it plays out!
