Meeting girlfriend mom?

So my girlfriend of 5 months now is ready for me to meet her mom but she’s nerves about how her family will act especially her brothers not towards me though. She meet my parents last month after had dating 4 months up to that point we’re working on month 6 know. My question is, she says she feels pressured not by me but by her family because of how they may or may not act towards themselves while I’m there. She didn’t have the best childhood growing up we’re as I did but I don’t look at her any lest difference because of how different our up-bring were. I’m 28 and she's 28 as well. We always talk about our hypothetically future together with the house and kids and all that stuff (way down the line of course.) also her mom is ready to meet me by the way. I’m black and she's Mexican. I also don’t pressure her to have me meet her mom and brothers I tell her when’s she’s ready it will happen.

Does she feel nerves for me to meet her mom, is just not ready yet because she knows how her family is or is she hiding something that she doesn’t want me to know just yet?

I’m sure she does. I think meeting each other’s family is nerve wrecking because even though you aren’t dating the family they play a big role. And like she mentioned to you that she hasn’t had the best childhood growing up meaning lots of things, maybe they are not a close family or something else…guess you’ll have to find out sooner or later
