Yandere (ヤンデレ) is a combination of "yanderu" (病んでる), meaning "mentally sick", and "deredere" (デレデレ), a mimetic word for "being lovestruck".

"Yandere" (JP) is a term for a character who at first is very sweet, loving, innocent, and overly affectionate like a normal deredere, but over time begins exhibiting signs of being mentally sick as a result of having a too strong love. Their love, admiration, and devotion to their love interest is so strong that it causes them to gradually develop an unstable mental state. They are the kind of character who will act all deredere and lovey-dovey when their relationship with their romantic partner is going well, but when something triggers jealousy or possessiveness they act impulsively in a way that makes them seem mentally ill. Their love is expressed as an excessive obsession and possessiveness towards their love interest. They become so attached to their love interest that it's impossible to let go and they may begin doing immoral things such as stalking their love interest or even using violence as a last resort towards anyone who "threatens" their relationship. They entrust themselves to their love interest, trusting in their love interest's kindness. They probe the deepest recesses of their love interest's heart to more perfectly form their greatest self within their love interest.

Oh man I love the anime from that first picture, though the name isn't coming to me, where they have the diaries they have to protect, and each one has different powers.

That girl was a straight psycho. Women will get like that over the "Alpha" guys. I have had very few go that crazy over me, but it is unsettling, and difficult to justify using violence until it crosses a certain threshold.

So they stalk and scream, and make life uncomfortable, but the courts won't do anything, and if I were to do the same, you can bet your ass I'd be in a cell pronto. It's crazy.

Andrew Tate made a video recently on a theory of life, that life as a man has always been shit and will always and permanently be shit. On the bright side as he mentions, life as a man in this day and age has never been better than any period in history. This means in this day and age, life as a man is the best it's ever been, yet it's shit because who cares. Everyone (except in certain regions like in the Arabic countries or India) cares about women.

Makes sense, the outcome before was for taking the shit role, at least there would be some comfort and a family. Now it's just a gamble, without even having kids or getting married you could lose half your stuff and have "palimony" for having a girlfriend for too long in some states.

I'm telling you, even with a bachelors degree in computer science and almost 10 years of EXP in Software Engineering, I'm making ends meet and live just one level above paycheck to paycheck. Food prices are sky high, effectively doubled or tripled after Russia launched a full scale invasion to Ukraine.

But to be fair, I gamble my money in brokers, multiplying it or losing it all. August and September have been deadly and dire for me.

Why am i saying this? What girlfriend, marriage and kids? I can hardly sustain myself.

Well, I can say that chemistry doesn't pay amazing, but at least it's stable. I have about a decade under my belt too, but just haven't found a place that is willing to invest in me. QA/QC is very much tied to a specific plant and product, so I'm pretty much resigning myself to contract work fixing messed up or under staffed places for higher pay rather than settling down.

I do have the wife and kids, and she has found a place that invests heavily into her. It would be nice to find something similar, not going to lie. That or another sweet sweet government gig that pays 6 figures that I tossed when I was 20... IQ 300 move there lol
