So flash forward us hardly talking she randomly texts me thanking me for something i got her and how it is helping her with her menstrual cramps. Do women just tell guy friends about their menstrual cramps like that? Or why would she reveal such information?

I can only talk for myself but I am as closed as an oyster and my private life is not revealed to anyone, not even to my closest family members. Nobody really needs to know something that does not concern them.

I am a private person that does not share anything about myself. I don't even post any pictures of myself, take no selfies and neither will I allow anyone to take a picture of me.

It depends on how private it is to her. I know someone who never shares period info with anyone except doctor. I know another who does not care, talks about cramps the same way as a headache. Different people find different things to be "private infotmation."
